The Department of Homeland Security has announced that the nation’s threat level is now Elevated (Yellow). Please
note that this announcement was issued nationwide and is not unique to our campus. The University has not received
or been alerted to any specific threats and urge students, faculty and staff to go about their normal business.
We remind you to be aware of suspicious behavior and circumstances such as unauthorized people in restricted areas,
and abandoned parcels, bags, vehicles or other items. Anyone wishing to report suspicious activity should contact
Security at 312-808-6363 immediately.
